The Index is already used as a price reference for over-the-counter transactions. Furthermore, it underpins various financial instruments. The entry into the register allows the Index to be referred to in the regulations of Russian government authorities and the Bank of Russia and makes it available to a wide range of users.
The methodology for calculating and publishing the Index is available in the organisation’s profile.
